{SØNiK}Fest is a quarterly sound/performance festival curated by Seyhan Musaoglu. The festival is held at numerous venues throughout NYC, often taking place over multiple nights. For 2.0, MeKaniKdolls performed a half-hour set with their collaborative project, MDSE alongside artist David Schafer. 2.0 was held at BronxArtSpace.

Sad Pavilion was held at Mildred's Lane artist residency in Scranton, PA. The evening-long sound event was curated by Bret Schneider and featured 8 unique performances occuring simultaneously, spread throughout the wooded landscape. Artists were invited to set up stations on the grounds of the residency, and viewers journeyed to each station by flashlight. MDSE performed a 3-hour set; 1 hour devoted to DSE, 1 hour to MeKanikdolls, and the third hour a collaborative piece. The live recording of Sad Pavilion was released on CD and digital download on January 13, 2011. It can be purchased here.

MeKaniKdolls were invited to perform at the renowned New York Studio Gallery in conjunction with the group exhibition MISC: Video & Performance.

MeKaniKdolls were invited to perform in the main gallery at The Kitchen as part of a group thesis exhibition curated by Anthony Allen of Paula Cooper Gallery. The performance utilized manipulated video monitors, sound objects, and varying degrees of audience participation.
